Jeffery Roberts joins SGTC as Technical Support Specialist

   Jeffery Roberts of Leslie has been hired as a full-time technical support specialist for South Georgia Technical College (SGTC), president Dr. John Watford announced recently. Roberts will report to SGTC Information Technology Director Gary Prince.

  Roberts is a South Georgia Technical College graduate with a diploma in Computer Networking and Marketing Management.  He also attended Georgia Southwestern State University concentrating in a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Technology.  He has worked as a Certified Help Desk professional, a computer lab assistant, finance manager/ sales official and as a tax Preparer.

  He has experience or skills in desktop support, software troubleshooting, technical support, computer networking, network support, troubleshooting, Microsoft Windows, VPN, LAN, VoIP, and remote access software in addition to other skills.

   Roberts duties in his new full-time position will include serving as lead technician and providing services to technology users, installing Microsoft operating systems and applications software, maintaining and repairing computer networks and all other IT related duties.
