Jets lose to Gulf Coast in Panama City

Panama City, FL – The South Georgia Technical College Jets lost their seven consecutive decision when they suffered a 95 – 47 defeat at the hands of the Gulf Coast State College Commodores in the first round of the Gulf State College Classic men’s basketball tournament.
The Jets are now 1 – 11 on the season and will face another uphill battle today when they take on 13th ranked Northwest Florida at 3 p.m. Northwest Florida is 11 – 3. The Jets will return home on Saturday, January 4th to host the 14th ranked Chipola College Indians in the hangar. Chipola is 11 – 3 on the season.
The Jets will begin their Georgia Collegiate Athletic Association conference season on the road on January 8th when they travel to Macon to play Central Georgia Technical College. That game will be a double-header with the Lady Jets playing at 5:30 p.m. and the men following at 7:30 p.m. The Lady Jets will begin their conference schedule on Saturday, January 4th at 1 p.m. in Albany against Albany Tech.
