Dear Friends of South Georgia Technical College,

Welcome to the South Georgia Technical College Foundation, where every gift matters! The South Georgia Technical College Foundation exists for the sole purpose of helping South Georgia Technical College and its students succeed by raising funds to provide financial support to the college and scholarships to students.

Founded in 1989, the South Georgia Technical College Foundation is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt, nonprofit organization – led by a volunteer board of directors selected from the community. The foundation provides a legal vehicle to solicit, receive, invest, and disburse funds. The Foundation organizes and actively promotes annual fund drives as well as special capital campaigns designed to raise funds from the private sector.

The state of Georgia provides less than 33% of the operational budget for the college, therefore, for South Georgia Technical College to meet its mission of excellence, private investment is essential.
