Donor Recognition
Every gift MATTERS!
The South Georgia Technical College Foundation thanks its friends for investing in the success of South Georgia Technical College and its students. Donations to the foundation are recognized individually as well as publicly. The Foundation has seven different cumulative giving levels as well as the President’s Club, which recognizes individuals, businesses, or organizations who give $5,000 or more annually.

- Donor Walls of Honor
In order to recognize lifetime donors, gifts of $100 or more are listed in their appropriate giving levels on donor walls located in either the John M. Pope Industrial Technology Center on the Americus campus or the Crisp County Center in Cordele. Donors are also recognized publicly in the program at the annual Donor Recognition Dinner.
- Naming Opportunities
Donors making gifts of $50,000 or more are recognized through naming opportunities identified by the Foundation Board of Trustees in designated facilities. Naming opportunities include but are not limited to buildings, auditoriums, classrooms, laboratories and other facilities located on campus. This is also done in conjunction with the naming policies of the Technical College System of Georgia.
- Donor Appreciation Dinner
The Foundation Board of Trustees honor donors at a special banquet annually. This is a time for the Foundation to say thank you and show appreciation to donors. Contributors that have given over $5,000 during the year are given a special award during the evening for being members of the President’s Club. Lifetime giving level recognition for Scholar’s level and above are presented as well as gifts to those who have endowed scholarships.
