Americus Kiwanis Club Donates to SGTC Foundation

The Americus Kiwanis Club presented the South Georgia Technical College Foundation with a check recently in support of the Foundation’s annual fund drive to help students “Take Off With South Georgia Tech.
Jody Wade, President of the Americus Kiwanis Club, made the presentation to South Georgia Technical College President Dr. John Watford recently as part of the club’s weekly meeting.
“The members of the Kiwanis Club are pleased to offer resources that can assist individuals in our community in bettering themselves and improving their quality of life,” stated Wade. “We appreciate what South Georgia Technical College does for our community and we are pleased to be able to give this donation to South Georgia Technical College and its foundation.”
SGTC President Dr. John Watford thanked the Kiwanis Club for their donation and their support and assured the Club that they were helping to make a difference in the lives of area students as well as our community.
