Interested in a career in marketing or just want to learn how to promote your business better? South Georgia Technical College is offering a Marketing Specialist Technical Certificate of Credit that can be completed completely online in one semester this fall. Classes start August 17th and it is not too late to apply and register.
“This is a great opportunity for anyone who would like to enter the marketing field or who would like to learn new skills to help market their business,” said South Georgia Technical College Marketing Instructor Mary Cross. “Students can sign up for the Marketing Specialist TCC and complete it online in one semester with four classes or 12 credit hours.”
The Marketing Specialist TCC is a part of the South Georgia Technical College’s Marketing diploma and associate degree program so students can elect to continue the program after completing the TCC. The Marketing Specialist TCC covers the Principals of Marketing, Professional Selling, Promotion and Marketing Communication, and one occupational elective.
Students in the SGTC marketing program may qualify for the HOPE Grant, HOPE Scholarship or Federal PELL grant. There are also scholarships and grants available from the South Georgia Technical College Foundation.
The SGTC Marketing program features five other TCC’s that can be completed in one semester or less. Those include the Marketing Specialist, Entrepreneurship, Retail Merchandise Manager, Small Business Marketing Manager, Supervisor/Management Specialist, and Sales Professional.
