Morgan hired as new Facilities Manager at SGTC Crisp County Campus
Timothy Morgan of Cordele has been hired as the new Facilities Manager for the South Georgia Technical College Crisp County Center campus, announced South Georgia Technical College President Dr. John Watford. He will report to Maintenance Director Jeff Wiseman.
Morgan, who is completing the South Georgia Technical College Crisp County Center Heating and Air Conditioning Program, has been working as a Maintenance Mechanic for the Cordele Housing Authority since 2004. He was also employed with Homestead Homes as a Final Finish Leadman prior to working with the Housing Authority. As the Facilities Manager for the SGTC Crisp County Center campus, Morgan will be responsible for training, assigning, directing, supervising, and evaluating the work of employees engaged in performing skilled and semi-skilled buildings and grounds maintenance and repair duties. He will also supervise and participate in the repair and maintenance of college buildings, college equipment and vehicles and plan and direct renovation projects as assigned. He will complete carpentry projects, supervise and participate in grounds maintenance activities, including installing and maintaining landscaping and parking lots. He will also maintain records and logs of work scheduled and performed.
Morgan also serves as a Pastor at Inaha Baptist Church in Sycamore, Georgia. He has a diploma in Christian Ministry and a Master Diploma I Pastorial Ministries.
