SGTC Adult Education staff participate in professional development training
South Georgia Technical College’s Adult Education staff participated in an in-person Professional Development training session on the Americus campus recently with Susan Pittman, CEO of E-Learning Connections, Inc. from North Carolina.
Pittman conducted a one-day workshop with all of the South Georgia Technical College Adult Education instructors, staff, and administrators. She discussed ways to help students earn their High School Equivalency. Pittman works collaboratively with the GED Testing Service to design, develop, and deliver professional development with an emphasis on instructional strategies across content area.
SGTC President Dr. John Watford and Dr. Beth Jones, Manager Strategic Planning for the Technical College System of Georgia, also visited with the group during that Professional Development training session.
