SGTC Celebrates Valentine’s Day in Americus and Cordele

Students at South Georgia Technical College (SGTC) recently celebrated Valentine’s Day with activities on the Americus campus and at the Crisp County Center.

In Cordele, students took part in a Valentine’s-themed “meet and greet” social event. Participants enjoyed the opportunity to mingle and get to know each other a little better. The event also featured games, refreshments, and other activities.

The day’s festivities in Americus started in the morning with a photo booth and cookies. Later, students and staff assembled outside the gym for “tailgating” with free hamburgers and hotdogs ahead of the Jets and Lady Jets basketball doubleheader.

The Office of Student Affairs at SGTC sponsors activities like the Valentine’s Day celebrations to keep students engaged and to ensure they receive a complete college experience.
