Members of the National Technical Honor Society believe that reading is an essential part of developing and succeeding in life. Reading is an especially vital role in the lives of young children. Reading to children and having them read to you develops vital language skills that they will use throughout life. Reading can open up new ideas and different viewpoints on an array of different subjects, and can provide children with hours of wholesome fun while enhancing their social skills.
