Students at South Georgia Technical College’s (SGTC) Cordele campus recently had the opportunity to learn about the science of body scrubs while crafting their own custom creations at the Make Your Own Sugar Scrubs event, hosted by the SGTC Office of Student Affairs in partnership with Chattahoochee-Flint RESA.

Using ingredients provided to them, the students mixed personalized sugar scrubs infused with unique aromas, allowing them to experiment with scent combinations and textures. The hands-on event gave students a fun and educational way to engage in self-care while learning about product formulation.

The Office of Student Affairs regularly offers interactive activities and workshops to help students gain the complete college experience at SGTC.
