SGTC to Host Annual Father’s Day Car Show June 15

The Annual South Georgia Technical College Father’s Day Car Show is Back! The event is scheduled for June 15, from at 10:00 am until 1:00 pm at the SGTC main campus in Americus. Admission will be free and lunch is provided.

Everyone is welcome to participate and enjoy in the automobile exhibition which includes cars, trucks, motorcycles, and emergency vehicles. Registration begins at 8:00 am. Prizes will be awarded for the following: Best in Show, Old (1900-1993), Best in Show, New (1994-Present), Best Paint Job, Best Truck, Best Motorcycle, Best Police/Fire and Res-cue/Ambulance, and for Most Car Club Members.

One entry will also be honored as the overall Best in Show Winner.

Attendees of the car show will also have the chance to discover more about the more than 200 associate degrees, diplomas, and technical certifications of credit programs that South Georgia Technical College offers. SGTC is currently accepting student applications for the Fall Term which begin August 15. Early registration will be held July 23 on both Americus and Crisp County campuses.
