MOULTRIE, Ga. (WALB) -AGCO, a global leader in agricultural machinery and technology, is excited to announce a new partnership with South Georgia Technical College as part of the AGCO NexTECH program.

This collaboration will integrate AGCO-specific curriculum and resources into the college’s existing diesel technology program, equipping students with the skills needed to become future diesel technicians for AGCO dealers.

By embedding AGCO content, this initiative will provide hands-on training with advanced machinery, building a strong pipeline of talent to support AGCO’s dealer network across the Southeast.

This partnership will play a critical role in addressing the growing demand for skilled technicians, ensuring that graduates are prepared to step into high-demand roles at AGCO dealerships.

The AGCO NexTECH program continues to expand opportunities for both students and dealers, strengthening connections between education and industry to support the future of agriculture.

AGCO has been forming partnerships with GA FFA and 4-H in an effort to bolster the talent pipeline for future service technicians with sponsorship of the GA FFA Ag Mechanics CDE event and the GA 4-H Gearing Up for Safety Program.

This week at the expo, young people can come try their hand and learn more about technician careers at the Massey Ferguson Booth’s Pit Stop Challenge.
