South Georgia Technical College’s Instructor of the Year Charles Christmas will be the keynote speaker at the South Georgia Technical College Fall 2017 graduation exercise on Thursday, December 14th at 6 p.m. in the James S. Peters Gymnasium on the Americus campus.
Christmas, an Aviation Maintenance Technology Instructor on the Americus campus, was selected as the college’s Instructor of the Year for 2017. He will have the honor of addressing the graduates and their families, fellow students, faculty, and staff during the commencement ceremony.
Approximately 230 students will be receiving an associate degree or diploma at the graduation exercise. Twenty-three different students will be recognized as Presidential Honor Graduates or Honor Graduates with a cumulative GPA of 3.70 or higher.
