WRAFLC hosts hiring event at South Georgia Tech
The Warner Robins Air Force Logistics Complex hosted a hiring event for experienced Avionics/Electronics & Electrical Technicians at South Georgia Technical College’s John M. Pope Industrial Technology Center recently.
Andrew Goldberg, Director of Talent Operations at Warner Robins Air Logistics Complex, met with SGTC President Dr. John Watford during the recruiting event to learn more about South Georgia Technical College and the over 200 associate degree, diploma, and technical certificate of credit educational programs offered.
The Warner Robins Air Force Logistics Complex is the largest single site employer in the State of Georgia and Goldberg is responsible for overseeing the entire talent lifecycle, from acquisition to retention to ensure that the organization’s talent strategies and operations are aligned with its overall goals, driving efficiency and effectiveness in hiring, onboarding, development, and retention processes.
The hiring event was specifically for training Avionics/Electronics Technicians only and SGTC’s Avionics Maintenance Technology and Electronics Diploma/Degree 2022 – 2024 gradates were encouraged to attend. An initial screening of required experience and/or education was completed by a subject matter expert prior to admittance for interview.
